Has anyone tried these or know of someone who has one?

It is a bit pricey but I find when I go for a drive I always end up getting home when its dark and my tinted visor makes it hard to see

Shoei and Lazer both make one. I saw the Shoei tonight while I was buying my Bell Qualifier DLX (which has the photochromatic shield).

pretty impressive alright.
but am like Terotta and have too many helmets already. I bought a Bell Rogue last week and love it. :)
funny enough, when the Bell Rogue was first released a few years ago, my mate and I were in the Harley shop trying them on and taking the piss, Goose stepping up and down the show room floor, and having a good laugh at them
who woulda thunk it, I now have one and love it.

I have a Rogue ... It's a brilliant helmet ... wouldn't be without it. They're not legal or sold in the UK therefore mine is forever being scrutinised by other bikers.

As for the photochromic visor ... were you aware that AGV do an LED version ... they reckon it's pretty damn good. Don't know myself as not seen it in the flesh.

I have two whole bikes that my missus doesn't know about! I've done that ever since I started owning bikes. I managed to buy my first road bike, XT500, without my parents knowing and hid it amongst my dirt/race bikes. Was nearly a year and 5,000 miles before they realised that I'd got it. Wrong I know, but if I'd not done that they would never have allowed it. Nowadays I just buy whatever I want, whenever I want ... I don't bother to say anything and then it doesn't cause ructions. I buy her horses and trucks so she could careless most of the time.

I've been chasing Bell for nearly a year to get one for my Bell Star, they keep telling me they are "on the way in a couple of months ", I've been told that from bike shops and directly from the distributor in NZ, I had heard the reason was that they were having some technical problems with the coating so still waiting.
